I had a hard time deciding what to write about for today, mainly because I have sooo many ideas, it’s basically decision paralysis :-)
In the end, I decided to share with you the most recent occurrence in my life:
I am teaching a free Workshop on how to sketch and draw tomorrow. At 8:00pm CET, for 90 minutes.
If you would have told me that just half a year ago, I would have called you crazy. No way I ever could have imagined teaching how to draw.
Why? Because I lost my love for Art for many years.
Funny enough Science brought it back to me & since then it’s a constant re-discovery and un-burying of my Artist-heart.
It seems so, that I am not the only one.
I hear people saying they want to combine science and art, but don’t know how.
I see friends starting to learn how to paint, for the fun of it.
I see people discovering their love to write again (I am one of them).
It seems like a revolution is taking place, of people who want to go back to creating through visuals, words, dance, or anything else you might think about. With their own bodies.
Before I get into my personal story on why I became a lost artist, here some information about my workshop tomorrow, in case you want to sign up and rediscover yourr passion for creating art:
I want to remove your fear or inhibition of sktching & creating art
Sketching will help you to process your inner world & have fun!
I am not big on promises, but I promise you: you CAN draw! If you believe you can’t, you will be able to draw after this workshop.
(still a humble disclaimer: you won’t be a Micheaelangelo or Picasso after 90 minutes, but you will be a YOU who can use basic skills to visualize what you want).
Some more information on what you need & the sign-up link can be found here:
Now, off to my story on how I turned from a lost artist into embracing my Artist heart and the lessons I learned, who knows, maybe you can resonate…
