Oftentimes the ideas what I want to write about come spontaneously, todays thoughts & feelings came on a walk with my dog Buffy, surely inspired about the fact that it is currently Christmas.
It seems like many people are in a stressful state of mind, rushing, hectic back & forth, fixing, running around and dreading this time of the year. That is at least what I hear and also see sometimes, while walking the streets myself.
It makes me feel like I live in a parallel Universe, remembering how it used to be for me as well sometimes. Cos this year, it is clearly not, neither was the last year any stressful for me, even though my whole family was here.
I am in a complete state of relaxation, no rush, no worries, no back & forth, no pressure and nothing in the external world that I allow to change this state I am in. I like to feel at peace & freedom, especially now at the end of the year.
The feelings of Christmas have been the following for me this year:
Feeling at ease to know the world as I know it, comes to a halt for some days.
Feeling grateful to wake up early to practice Mantra meditation with a friend.
Feeling calm while going shopping for the food I want to cook.
Feeling super excited to enter the bookstore & finding two riddle books to dive into.
Feeling thankful to spend time with my family on videocalls & connect over three countries.
Feeling honored to be able to meet with friends, their kids & go to church, sledging, drinking hot chocolate, playing games, sticking glitter pearls on unicorn drawings & eating together.
Feeling at peace to go on early morning walks with Buffy, on freshly fallen snow.
Feeling humbled to see the first results of practicing telepathic communication with Buffy.
Feeling cozy to sit on my couch, in the candlelight, reading, listening & solving riddles.
Feeling connected to the Universe while meditating and burning my Rauhnachtritual wishes.
Feelings of peacefulness, calm, quiet, introspection and reflection, all over all the time.
It has not always been like that…
