What an exciting day that was, being exposed to the miracle of creating life in such a close way.

However, if I am honest, & I am trying my best to be as truthful to myself (and you) as possible: the second my friend asked me if I want to join her placenta-print action, I was sceptic.

What is this even? Uuhh, we will use her actual placenta & paint on it & make prints of it :-O? I have never heard of that, what a crazy idea… will it smell? How about the touch? Am I supposed to touch it? Uiuiii, I can’t even handle to touch raw meat…

These were my initial thoughts. But then, when talking about it, reading and looking at pictures, I started to get fascinated about the idea. I thought: “Well Daria, who knows when and if you will ever have this option again? Maybe never!” So why would I say no to it? So I agreed.

I like to do and try all kinds of things, I feel that if I experience them at least once, then I can say for real if I like them or not...
