I full-heartedly believe that this is possible, I can be both of these at the same time. They do not exclude each other at all. In fact: I think that I have to be able to hold both of these within me at the same time.

First, I would like to share that I think that having a flexible mind is crucial for our life, our existence as human beings. Why? “Because change is the only constant in life”, apparently said by the greek philosopher Heraclitus.

Change occurs all the time: each minute we live, we get olde; each day that passes, we experience something that shapes our life; each moment we could potentially die; each moment a loved relationship could break; each moment we could meet the love of our life; each moment we might get a brilliant business idea and so on, and so forth… there is endless potential, for challenging situations and for pure bliss.

Living life in the believe that all will stay the same, means missing out on life itself.

So always evaluate the evidence that exist against the opinions and views you have and see if they are in need of an upgrade or adaptation. This is a crucial strategy to survive.

Now, how does that fit together with needing to be inconvincible at the same time? Didn’t I just say that its crucial for survival to allow constant change?

Yes I said that, and it is true. And still: I can also be inconvincible at the same time.

How? Because there are hundreds of thousands of opinions, circumstances, values, situations, people, relationships etc. in our life…
