All the “I love you’s” of my life
Sometimes I have random ideas coming up, so I immediately write them down, just like today
What a beautiful sentence to say and to hear: I love you.
It’s one of the most special sentences to be said, also one that can be tricky. There have been many different I-love-you’s in my life.
The I-love-you from my mom, dad, sister, or other family member.
The I-love-you from a boyfriend.
The I-love-you from a friend.
The I-love-you from my dogs’ eyes and soul.
The I-love-you from my soul-family members.
The I-love-you from my teachers or guides.
The I-love-you from myself, to myself; not always easy to say.
The I-love-you’s that were exchanged and felt light.
The I-love-you’s that came so sudden, out of nowhere, with such overwhelming power.
The I-love-you’s that were felt, seen, heard, experienced and spread oh so widely.
And there were also these I-love-you’s:
The I-love-you that was told to me, which I felt but was too afraid to reciprocate, did I loose it?
The I-love-you that was told to me, which I reciprocated, but didn’t truly mean.
The I-love-you that was told to me, which I did not reciprocate.
The I-love-you that I said & waited for reciprocation & when it came, mine was gone.
The I-love-you that I said & felt was there, but it was never said back.
The I-love-you that I said & that caused fear in the other person.
The I-love-you that was hidden, by me & the other person, yet it was felt by both of us.
The I-love-you that felt so deep, it hurt immensely.
All these I-love-you’s, these feelings, people, situations and all the love: thank you for each one of you! Reciprocated or not, the feeling of love is always special.
There was a time in my life where I thought saying I-love-you shouldn’t be overdone; it should be special and only said on special occasions.
I don’t think that is true anymore, saying I-love-you is special and when its meant truly from our heart and soul, it is free to float wherever, to whoever and whenever, as much as possible.
Sometimes the I-love-you can be felt and seen, ideally I believe it’s great when its visible, seen and felt, even from the outside.
Cos I do not believe that there can be too much love that is felt, seen and perceived. We humans need love, this is how we thrive.
Be it the love of family, friends or romantic love, the love towards our pets, nature or whatever brings us joy is essential for all of us. And when I experience and see love in other people, it lights me up, brings hope & happiness.
For today, that should be it, I have not much more to say and share. I just had this strong urge to write about all these I-love-you’s that I experienced in my life. If you feel like sharing some of those that you have experienced or felt, feel free to do so!
I wish you a lot of love-feelings for today!
Love,
Daria
